Striker Sam Cosgrove has been voted our members’ player of the month for December.

After a quiet start to his Aberdeen career, the target man burst into life last month.

Harshly sent off at Ibrox at the start of December, the goals started to come – seven in total and in five consecutive games – including doubles against both Dundee and Hearts.

It’s not just the goals, either. Sam has established himself as the general focal point of the Dons’ attack, knitting it together with fine link up play.

It was quite a comfortable win with Sam taking 68% of the votes.

November winner Max Lowe was second with 9%, and Connor McLennan third with 8%.
