We have been approached by media outlets to pass comment on the events in Cyprus last night.

It’s disappointing that the media have been so quick to contact us to pass comment on the disturbances, apportion blame and condemn.

So soon after the event it would be irresponsible to do so.

From the media, we would appreciate that level of interest and investigation in relation to the governance and administration of Scottish football, as well as other wider-reaching issues that affect the Aberdeen support.
