Scott McKenna has been named as the first members’ Player of the Month of 2018!

The vote took into account both January and February due to the winter break and shorter month.

Over the period the Dons registered mixed results, but when it was good Scott was great.

His time over the two months peaked with his 40-yard thunderbolt in the 3-1 home win against high-flying Kilmarnock in late January.

Recently celebrating his first senior Scotland call up, Scott took 42% of the 100s of votes cast by our members but there wasn’t much in it. Kenny McLean was second with 38% and Graeme Shinnie a distant third with 8%.

One of Scott’s voters will soon get the chance to present the award to him in person.
