We will be welcoming supporters to a special members’ meeting next month.

The theme will be fan engagement at AFC, with a particular focus on the proposals for the new stadium.

We will be joined by special guest speakers Paul Goodwin and Jacob Rösler.

Paul is the Director of the Scottish Football Supporters Association (SFSA), and he will be given us an insight to the work they do and the positive impact it’s having across the country.

Jacob is a fan representative at FC Union Berlin, and he will be there to tell us about the incredible way FCU modernised their home ground and the effort the club makes to engage with their fans.

The event will take place on Friday 2 December at the DoubleTree Hilton Hotel on Beach Boulevard. The evening will begin at 5.30pm and is expected to last a couple of hours.

DST members have received an email invitation and have been asked to RSVP as spaces are limited.

Kevin Mackenzie, DST chairman, explains:

“We exist to present the views of the AFC fans to the club and the evening will provide a great opportunity for us to find out what can be done to improve the approach taken and how clubs are doing it successfully at home and abroad.”
